11yrs - 13yrs: Try a few weeks as an Educator in Training!  11 - 13 year olds who are interested in taking a baby step towards leadership and responsibility during sessions can select an 'Educator In Training' ticket when and where they are available in the registration.  For a slight discount, 11 - 13 year old E.I.T.'s help educators and act as ambassadors to help new participants feel welcomed and encourage fast friendships - while also enjoying activities, cooking and other games with their peers during the program sessions. Want to know more? Questions can be emailed to Education Supervisor, April, at april@communityfarms.org

Fee Assistance is available for all educational programs offered through Waltham Fields Community Farm for both Waltham Residents and learners who reside outside of Waltham.

Continued 15% Program Discount for Waltham Residents : Waltham Resident tickets are provided during seasons that WFCF is unable to offer programs through the Waltham Recreation Department as a Program Partner, and are noted on the program page when available.  Select our Waltham Resident option if you are a Waltham resident who usually registers for our programs through the Waltham Recreation Department, or if this rate will allow your Waltham resident child(ren) to explore and learn with us.

Fee Assistance & WFCF ‘Education for All’ Scholarship Fund  About the scholarship fund.  When possible, WFCF provides various levels of fee assistance through the ‘Education for All’ scholarship fund. Non-Waltham Residents can email inquiries and requests regarding fee assistance through WFCF’s ‘Education for All’ scholarship fund to jessica@communityfarms.org. You can support this mission by donating any amount to the Education for All Scholarship Fund in the registration when you check out.

Special thanks to those who are able to register at the full rate and/or donate to our ‘Education for All’ scholarship fund! Your support strengthens our nonprofit farm, and our community, by keeping our programs accessible to everyone. We see you and we thank you for helping to strengthen our community.

Why “Donor Covered Cost” is So Important   One of the fastest growing areas of expense for our organizations are fees we incur for processing credit cards. In 2024, WFCF incurred more than $22,000 in credit card processing fees.  By covering the cost of your transaction today, you are helping us to meet our operating costs, and to remain focused on our mission of cultivating sustainable and equitable relationships between people, their food supply, and the land from which it grows. Thank you for doing so when you can.
