Waltham Resident Discount $188.00 per season

Fee assistance available for non-Waltham residents.

To accommodate multiple family structures, one ticket covers up to three humans in any family combination.  

(1 caregiver + 2 youth OR 2 caregivers + 1 youth OR a family group of 2)

Join your toddlers on an adventure in the great outdoors and explore the landscape of the farm together! Unique, farm-based education programs immerse you and your littles in a safe, structured, hands-on environment encouraging exploration and discovery about the farm and the food it produces through sensory projects, movement, song and interdisciplinary play.

Children and caregivers participate in a range of activities together, such as exploring trees and leaves, observing and tracking wildlife, playing games, making natural art, singing songs, reading interactive books, harvesting veggies and herbs, and exploring the signs of the seasons in the garden and on the farm. 

Please note this program takes place fully outdoors rain or shine (when roads are safe).

The Learning Garden Cottage will be lightly heated and will provide shelter for rainy, snowy or chilly days.

Warm herbal teas provided in winter months along with lots of outdoor exploration.

Fee Assistance is available for all educational programs offered through Waltham Fields Community Farm for both Waltham Residents and learners who reside outside of Waltham.

Fee Assistance & WFCF ‘Education for All’ Scholarship Fund   When possible, WFCF provides various levels of fee assistance through the ‘Education for All’ scholarship fund. Non-Waltham Residents can email inquiries and requests regarding fee assistance through WFCF’s ‘Education for All’ scholarship fund to jessica@communityfarms.org

Continued 15% Program Discount for Waltham Residents  'Waltham Resident Discount Tickets'  are provided during seasons that WFCF is unable to offer programs through the Waltham Recreation Department as a Program Partner and for non-Waltham resident families who meet the criteria. When available, Waltham Resident Discount Tickets are listed as an option in the registration, and are noted on the program page when available.  Self-select our Waltham Resident option if you are a Waltham resident who usually registers for our programs through the Waltham Recreation Department, or if this rate will allow your Waltham resident child(ren) to explore and learn with us. 

Special thanks to those who are able to register at the full rate and/or donate to our ‘Education for All’ scholarship fund! Your support strengthens our nonprofit farm, and our community, by keeping our programs accessible to everyone.

Cancellation & Refund Policy (if participant cancels a registration):  Cancellations made 21 days or more in advance of the start date will receive a full refund minus a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations made between 14 and 20 days in advance will receive a 50% refund minus a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 13 days or less of the start date are non-refundable. Waltham Fields Community Farm reserves the right to change, modify and/or cancel program dates at our discretion.
