Adults planning to attend with their school-age children require their own registration. Parents of youth under 6 years old are required to remain on site with their child(ren) and can register using the Little Sprouts ticket in the registration

LOCATION:  Leap Year Celebration with the Rabbits will be held in the Learning Garden on the farm at 240 Beaver Street, Waltham.

SNACK: We will have fresh popcorn with some add-ins to make-your-own-snack. Pretzel sticks will also be provided along with bubbly water and fresh fruit, hot water and teas/hot chocolate mix selections. We try to keep snacks nut-free.  If you are bringing your own snack from home that is okay. Please ensure it is nut free.

TIME CAPSULE: We will be filling a time capsule and burying it during our event.  Please feel free to bring items to add to the capsule.  Anything that represents our community of learners or our farm or education space is welcome.  It is not required to bring items.  There are plenty of chicken feathers, seeds, pine cones, and other mementos to be found around the farm that can be added to our message to 2028!  Please note our time capsule has limited space. Please be sure items you bring can fit inside of a container the size of a bread box. (full disclosure, we are using a bread box as our time capsule).

RABBITS: The rabbits will be with us for the duration of this event and they will be available for cuddling, playing tag, and holding for short periods of time.  If you are interested in interacting with the rabbits please be aware that they may (lovingly) nibble on clothes out of curiosity.  Please wear or bring a towel or wear an outer layer that you won't mind having nibbled if you choose to hold the rabbits.

WEATHER:  It is going to be chilly tomorrow according to the weather report.  Please dress in warm layers.  The temperature and wind gusts are typically colder and stronger than other areas due to the open fields.  Our Learning Garden Cottage will be heated and seating will be available, along with hot drink options to help keep us cozy.
