Come to the farm after school and explore the natural world this fall!  Participants will help educators  while connecting with their farm friends (and making new ones!), learning about growing, harvesting and preparing their own food with our solar powered kitchen! Occasional visits to the chicken coop and fiber rabbit cuddling included!

During this time of limited access to the Learning Garden area of 240 Beaver Street, the farmers have cleared a space in the farm rows for our community of learners!  On the west side of the area we farm, participants will gather under the Ed Shed and grow together this spring directly in the farm soil in our youth-directed Microfield!

No matter where we plant ourselves, WFCF Education Programs continue to offer a variety of experiential, project-based adventures for learners of all ages, exploring agriculture, gardening, nature, culinary arts, sustainable homesteading, foraging, and science-based programs through hands-on experiences.

Scholarship and Waltham Resident Discounts available upon request. Contact WFCF Director of Education & Community Programs Jessica Herwick at jessica@communityfarms.org for more information or to make a request.

A Note to All Registrants:  Please be aware that during this time, program schedules are subject to change. In the event that a program is forced to cancel due to limited access, all registrantants affected by such a closure will be refunded. More information regarding WFCF's Refund Policy can be found ON THIS PAGE (scroll to the bottom).  More information regarding WFCF access to farmed-land at 240 Beaver Street, impact on programs and actions the community can take to show support can be found HERE.
