Join your toddlers on an adventure in the great outdoors and spend some time with your fellow humans! Social gatherings look a little different than they used to, and that means we have some new skills to practice together! Participants will gather in family groups for a new kind of Little Sprouts Program to celebrate and experience the fall together on the farm. From a safe distance (face masks required when in the cottage), we'll explore the farm and garden together, plant seeds, water plants, spend time with our fiber rabbits and our egg-laying hens, and dig in the dirt!
Unique Learning Garden Programs provide a structured, hands-on environment that encourages you and your little ones to learn about the farm and the food it produces through projects, play, and movement. Children and caregivers participate in a range of activities together, such as exploring trees and leaves, observing and tracking wildlife, playing games, making natural art, singing songs, reading interactive books, harvesting veggies and herbs, and exploring the signs of fall in the garden and on the farm.
Please note this program takes place outdoors for the entire hour, rain or shine. The Learning Garden Cottage will provide shelter for heavy rainfall or chilly days, although it is not heated.
