Spring Vacation Week on the Farm!

Monday, April 18 - Friday, April, 22, 2022

9 a.m.-12 p.m.     $275 per participant

Spring is a time of inspiration and new beginnings, especially on the farm! Join WFCF Director of Education Jessica Herwick and Alex Adamo from Alex Makes Art in the Learning Garden during April vacation week to explore the waking farm around us and take a journey into the natural world! This program leads learners to make connections between art and the natural world while making new friends, meeting fiber-producing rabbits and egg-laying hens, and stretching out in the fresh spring air!

This drop-off program is designed for school-age youth in 1st through 8th grade.

Each day we will explore the natural world, sharpen our culinary arts skills to make a farm-y snack together, and use items we collect and grow to create interdisciplinary works of art.

Sessions are 3 hours, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. rain or shine!

Please review the Participants Preparation Pages shared with registrants leading up to the first day of the program.

This program will more fully introduce the new Learning Garden Cottage, a 16’ x 26’ sheltered, indoor space with windows and barn doors situated to open for utmost airflow. The Cottage enables us to provide consistency of programming during inclement weather.

Please review the COVID-19 Guidelines for All WFCF Learning Garden Participants and Visitors, updated as needed.
