$165 for each Mini Camp Week (3 consecutive days in July and August)

Join us for a summer like no other! This small-group, outdoor, shortened summer program may not look like it has in past summers, due to the impact of the pandemic on program delivery, but we look forward to spending time outdoors on the farm with our community of learners to celebrate the summer and the growing season together!

Youth will be immersed in this working farm and will interact daily with the farming experience, including caring for our hens and fiber-producing angora rabbits, growing and harvesting their own food in the Learning Garden, and learning about insects, compost,  plants, trees, soil health, nutrition, pollinators, and more through hands-on exploration.

Guided by an enthusiastic team of educators, each session includes socially-distanced games, farm walks, stories, art projects, science experiments, animal interactions, music, movement, water play, and cool-down breaks with popsicles or iced tea we make from garden herbs. Participants will harvest from the Learning Garden, and bring home produce for sharing, along with recipes for some of our favorite Learning Garden snacks!

Participants will interact with fresh produce daily, whether it’s picking and snacking on raspberries, cucumbers, and carrots, or using garden harvests to make a vegan recipe together for tasting.
