This outdoor, caregiver-and-me program celebrates springtime on the farm and encourages social time for parents and their littles, as we continue to find a pathway through the pandemic. Little Sprouts provides a structured, hands-on environment that encourages you and your little ones to learn about the farm and the food it produces through projects, play, and movement.
Children and adults participate in a range of activities together including planting vegetables, exploring the compost pile, observing wildlife, playing games, making natural art, singing songs, reading interactive books, going on scavenger hunts, harvesting veggies and herbs, collecting eggs in the coop, and cuddling rabbits in the springtime garden. Every season brings new surprises and new lessons.
This program takes place outdoors rain or shine! Please review the Participants Preparation Pages shared with registrants leading up to the first day of the program.
*Please review the COVID-19 Guidelines for All WFCF Learning Garden Participants and Visitors, updated as needed.
