After School Winter Walks 2022

Bundle up and join us for some outdoor wintertime fun on the farm! Winter walk sessions incorporate outdoor explorations, chicken and fiber rabbit interactions, and lots of fun games, books, activities, and projects. We will meet once a month for guided walks and work together to plan our garden for the spring. Youth will explore the wildlife, pine trees, frozen fields, and compost piles at the farm, listen to stories about nature, and learn to grow plants from seed. Sharpen your observation skills following animal tracks in the snow or decoding the messages the garden fairies hide for us, and spend some time stretching out in the fresh farm air with friends! 

In the event of inclement weather, we will hold program sessions in the Learning Garden Cottage, and indoor sheltered space in the garden area. Masks are required for indoor participation on the farm.
